Purpose: In this study, we investigated the effect of correlated color temperature and illuminance of lighting on change of the stereopsis.
Methods: We measured the stereoacuity for 29 persons when the light illuminance(100 lux, 500 lux, 1,000 lux) and the correlated color temperature(3,000 K, 5,600 K, 7,500 K, 11,000 K) were changed. We used RANDOT stereotest to measure stereopsis.
Result: Stereoacuity improved as illumination increased 100 to 500 lux and declined on 3,000 K, which was statistically significant(p<0.05).
Conclusion: This result showed that stereopsis varied depending on correlated color temperature and illuminance of lighting. The results of present study provide good basic data for beneficial lighting conditions.
